Novel Forensic Research (NOFOR) requires all contributing authors of each submitted manuscript to complete and submit the ICMJE Disclosure Form to declare any existing or potential conflicts of interest.

The journal also requires editors and reviewers involved in the editorial and peer review processes to disclose any financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other competing interests that could influence, or be perceived to influence, their impartiality.

All declared or suspected conflicts of interest involving authors, reviewers, or editors will be evaluated and managed by the Editorial Board in accordance with the relevant COPE Core Practices and ICMJE Recommendations.

Editors or reviewers with conflicts of interest must not participate in the evaluation or decision-making process of the relevant manuscript. When necessary, an independent editor or reviewer without a conflict of interest will be assigned.

The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, impartiality, and editorial independence throughout the publication process.
