Novel Forensic Research (NOFOR) requires authors to disclose any financial
support received for conducting their research. This information must be
included in a funding statement submitted with the manuscript.
The funding statement must include the names of funding agencies or
organizations, relevant grant numbers, and a description of each funder's role
in the study design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, manuscript
preparation, or publication decision.
If the funder had no role in the research or publication process, this must
be explicitly stated.
If the research received no financial support, authors must include the
following statement:
